I am a student at Kutztown University working to get my Bachelor's in English. I enjoy reading and writing about strong women and the types of representation they have. I am currently a writer for Her Campus. One of my biggest inspirations in my life is my mom, who was a single mother at a young age. She was also my inspiration for my research paper which focuses on how single mothers are represented in society and literature and how patriarchal attitudes affect them.
